How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

This one image [link] , the first one I posted on DA has been a huge success! Much to my surprise!

3D Total have just given it a 3DTotal Excellence Award!

They are featuring it in their upcoming 2DArtist Magazine in the Gallery section, and I have been asked to do a tutorial on how I did it. I just have to remember now. O.O;

It seems to have a life of it's own.

The "they" i'm refering to is Deviant Art. they tend to remove pieces that dont have copyrights or give credit to ownership if you say that it came from somewhere else or is about something. at least thats my possibility theory on the situation

I used the phrase "taken off" I meant it is doing well, not removed from DA.

Sorry for the confusion, I've changed the Journal Entry to make more sense. I appreciate your patience in helping me understand how my wording was confusing

Ohhhh! so thats what you meant. i thought when you said "taken off" the piece was removed from your gallery. so it has had good success? good. though somehow when i look at your creature pieces, they remind me of GTS. i guess it must be the style or something.

Its no problem. i've should have read it more carefully. i was wondering why the rest of the journal entry was so positive lol. Damn double meanings!
