XGB: MainTitle: Ghost Train by filbarlow XGB: MainTitle: Ghost Train by filbarlow
This is the ghost train that I drew for the Extreme Ghostbusters intro. I intentionally designed it as a homage to Everett Peck's ghost illustrations created a decade before on Real Ghostbusters (the tongue wheel and hand pistons were Everett's ideas). I saw this train as an opportunity to bring the 'spirit' of his work into the new show, combined with my own flavor.

The Train-thing was always my favorite in the opening. It's so wired and just like "what was that?!"

Love this design. Hopefully the series gets a DVD release soon.

Hopefully, but I wouldn't hold my breath when it comes to the Marketing Division at Sony

It's that the truth? It's a real shame. I know the series had its detractors, but I would still like to have the entire series on DVD. There are many episodes I haven't seen. You can find many, if not most, of them on YouTube, but the quality isn't great.

Yeah unfortunately. It would be nice to have all of the shows on DVD copied from the film stock not the videos. Video gives the ink lines a ghost white line which drives me crazy.
