Description
Here is Samhain from the main title of Extreme Ghostbusters. The sketches on the left are the same conceptual designs by Everett Peck that were used for Real Ghostbusters series.
Executive Producer Richard Raynis, liked Everett's whimsical design sense and hand picked the ghosts for the intro and the outro (some of you may recognize the lower left sketch appearing at the end of the show).
I wanted to faithfully reproduce the same image, having no knowledge about it's link to Samhain. I'd never seen a Real Ghostbusters episode because the show didn't air in Australia. No one else picked up on it either, to me it was just a pumpkin headed ghost, which is why I labeled it "Pumpkin Head".
My pencils (lower right) were inked by Helen Maier

I often wondered if he was supposed to be in an ep somewhere, shame, the RG ep 'When Halloween Was Forever' I rather thought it was one of the best and Samhain a good villain ghost, though I often chuckled to myself whenever I heard his name being pronounced Samhain instead of Sowin
